I came to Beat it as part of my University placement…and stayed! Music has always been so important to me; it’s not just about entertainment, it’s a way of expressing yourself, meeting new people and making friends. I have a wealth of experience in mentoring and developing people and finding creative and empowering ways to help people achieve their goals. I have over ten years’ experience as a guitarist and singer, playing solo and in bands. I have an interest in a wide variety of music genres and play everything from Classic Rock to Motown to Reggae. I’m currently studying for my MA in Social Work and continue to perform in various projects.
